Technology has come a long way since the days of overhead projectors and 35mm slide projectors "hang on a minute whilst we change the carouselle!". Whilst some people may still prefer to use such machinery Heason Events encourages speakers to go digital, using its super-bright projector and a sound system, both of which can be plugged into a standard laptop computer. With a little imagination speakers can now take you with them as they re-live their experiences. The image quality is better than with slide projectors because of the extra brightness of the bulb. Throw in the ability to mix in sound, text and video and, in Ian Parnell's words "I think that we have raised the bar on lectures". Check out the feedback from Ian's, Ben's and Steve's lectures over the winter of 2003 / 04. It was unanimously good.
