An eye-popping, adrenaline-pumping opportunity that’s ideal for any venue or event. The Kendal Mountain Festival’s ‘Best of Kendal’ tour gives you access to the hottest collection of outdoor films anywhere.
‘Kendal’ is one of the world’s major Mountain Film Festivals, an internationally-known event that attracts film premieres from around the world. High-altitude adventure mixes with dynamic, high-octane films featuring sports such as skiing, climbing, kayaking, BASE jumping, snowboarding and mountain biking. And it’s not all extreme action – films include art-house drama, documentaries about mountain communities and wildlife films.
A selection of the very best films from 2009 is now available for private or public screenings. Choose from six themed programmes, each around 2.5 hours long, or make up your own. In addition we can supply presenters and/or keynote speakers to add an extra dimension to your programme.
What's Included
- Best Of Kendal Promoters pack including DVDs with all the films for your chosen programme. Each programme will be split across 2 DVDs to ensure maximum image and sound quality. This will give you a natural break roughly halfway through. You will receive two copies of each DVD in case of damage or loss (returnable after event).
- Best of Kendal promotional posters (10 A3 & 20 A4) and 500 A5 leaflets with space for you to overprint or write on details of your event.
- Presenters Notes containing details of all the films in your programme, giving you all the information you need to introduce the films.
- An A4 programme will be emailed to you for printing and distribution at your event.
- Press releases and images are available to help you promote the event.
- Inclusion on the Kendal Mountain Festival website and Heason Events calendar.

Costs
Set Programme
The cost to rent any of the themed programmes is £750 + vat.
Make Your Own
You can choose from the complete list of films on Tour this year to create your own programme of up to three hours. The cost of tailormade packages is £850 + vat
Presenters
We can provide a specialist presenter to introduce the films and answer any questions the audience may have for an additional £200 + vat (including
travel & expenses).
Keynote Speaker
We can also arrange for a keynote speaker to attend the event. Please contact us to discuss this option in more detail; prices will vary depending on speaker and availability.
