In a nutshell

Professional rock climber world renowned for his bold climbing and, more recently, his exploits on big walls around the world. A member of the British speed climbing team.

Ben started his lecturing career in January 2004 with a ten city - twelve day tour of the UK. Using a mixture of his own photographs, an excellent collection from the likes of Tim Glasby, Ian Parnell, Dave Simmonite, Alex Messenger and Carl Ryan, Ben combined countless gripping anecdotes with some amusing video shorts and a some music to deliver a truly passionate and honest show which provided a very rare insight into the mind of quite possibly the UK's most accomplished bold climber.

Following this succesful tour Ben then visited Italy, Slovenia and Switzerland, to give an account of traditional climbing in the British Isles to a host of international audiences. Ben has since given numerous lectures, across the UK about his highly successful expedition to free climb Angel Falls in Venezuela
