The Portfolio
Corporate & Business Users

Everest Speakers - Adventure Speakers - Climbing Speakers - Mountaineering Speakers

The speakers in this section of the portfolio all have experience of corporate speaking. Many of them are living legends within their sports and demand a corresponding fee. Please note that many of these speakers also appear in the non-corporate section of the site which is aimed at climbing and mountaineering clubs, schools and charities. Where this is the case their fees may differ between the two sections simply because of the nature of the event - for example, a knees-up in the back room of a pub is not comparable to a key-note speech to a meeting of high ranking business officials. More information on fees.

Click on the name or photograph of the speaker (listed alphabetically) for a short profile, some sample photographs, and feedback from their previous events. The speakers are colour coded to indicate their relative experience in corporate lecturing - the darker the colour, the more experienced they are.

Aid Burgess
World class mountaineer - topics include Mt Everest, Achievement, Problem Solving, Conflict Management, Life Inspiration, Teamwork, Performance, Success, Defeat, Logistics, Decision Making & Motivation
Alastair Lee
The Entertainer. Alastair's shows feature stunning photography, ironic 'Northern' humour, digital video and projection. An unmissable cocktail of inspiration and entertainment from the climber's world.
Andy was recently voted one of the top three all round climbers in Britain. He is an experienced public speaker and has a PhD in linguistics.
Andy Kirkpatrick
Andy is quite probably the most gifted and popular speaker amongst the climbing clubs of Great Britain today, and is deservedly branching into the corporate world.
Anna McCormack
One of Anna’s biggest strengths is her ability to present her extraordinary stories in a totally accessible manner
Barry Roberts
Experienced high altitude mountaineer and Everest summitter, with a large amount of corporate experience
From bold and solo ascents on home soil to making the first ever free ascent of Angel Falls, the highest overhanging cliff in the world, Ben is a solid all-rounder with some fascinating insights into the riskier side of climbing.
Cameron McNeish
Through his highly successful BBC2 television programmes, Wilderness Walks, and his editorship of TGO (The Great Outdoors) magazine Cameron McNeish, broadcaster, lecturer, backpacker and mountaineer, has long been recognised as one of Britain's best known outdoor commentators.
Dave MacLeod
Hailed as the UK's best all-round climber Dave uses his background in Sports Science and his raw natural talent to provide inspiring and insightful talks.
Doug Scott
A true legend. Doug was the first Britain to climb Mt Everest and has partaken in more expeditions to the greater ranges than virtually anybody else alive. He has an enviable track record of major corporate and business lectures, with a full complement of satisfied clients.
Eric Blakely
In a hectic forty years Eric has visited almost 90 different countries, reported from the war-zones of the former Yugoslavia and the Lebanon; produced more than 50 half-hour documentaries for television (some of them about his own expeditions); staged numerous photographic exhibitions; and written a book about the second world war.
Eric is one of the most understated mountaineers alive. Back in the 60's he was soloing exteme rock routes and made a daring solo ascent of the Eiger in winter for television. He now gets his kicks BASE jumping!
Greg Child
During a 30-year climbing career, award winning writer Greg Child has conquered 5.13 free routes, A5 big walls and the highest peaks in the Himalaya, namely Everest and K2.
Hans Florine
Hans is obsessed with speed. He times virtually everything: driving distances, diaper changes, loan closings.
Ian Parnell
With his magnificent photography and supremely bold approach to mountaineering in the greater ranges, Ian puts on a show that few can match.
Jamie Andrew
A true inspirational figure, Jamie's story beggars belief and continues to stun audiences wherever he talks. His professionalism and determination in the face of adversity are second to none.
Jerry Gore
Jerry is a human dynamo. As well as participating in dozens of high-profile expeditions around the globe he has a successful business career, both elements that he draws upon to good effect in his talks.
Jerry Moffatt
Jerry Moffatt has never climbed Everest, nor been to the Poles, but he has been the best known rock climber the world has ever known, and a self-made millionaire to boot. His enthusiasm for life leaves one feeling almost inadequate yet inspired at the same time!
John Dunne
John Dunne is without doubt one of the most influential, strong, bold and notorious climbers in the history of British Climbing
Pat Littlejohn
Pat hails from a quiet corner of North Wales where he continues to go about the business of being the most prolific pioneer of rock climbing in the UK. He also runs a successful guiding company from the Swiss Alps.
Simon Yates
Simon is well known for his epic expedition to Siula Grande in Peru (made infamous by the recent film Touching The Void), but his experiences are far richer than that single trip.
Sir Chris Bonington
Chris Bonington is more than Britain's best known mountaineer. He is a writer, a lecturer and now one of the country's leading motivational speakers for business.
Sir Ranulph Fiennes
The world's greatest living explorer and without doubt one of the finest public speakers on the planet.
Stephen Venables
Stephen is another legend in his own right. He was the first Britain to climb Mt Everest without the use of bottled oxygen, and has a rich history of similarly heavy-weight expeditions to illustrate his talks with.
Tom Clowes Tom and Ben Clowes were the first British brothers to summit Everest
