Many thanks indeed for your lecture Mussel Power. The club is still talking about it and apropos of our chat afterwards I've already started recruiting for our own foray into uncharted peak territory! A very entertaining and inspirational talk. Especially as you managed to turn a concept that to most of us was well and truly out of our league into a very realistic goal.

I think I can safely say that everyone really did enjoy your talk both of the climbing and the sailing. (We all think you're nuts but we're just as bad ourselves so no complaints there.) We'd certainly have no reservations about recommending you and inviting you back to tell us about some of your other exploits.

I have had nothing but compliments from the people that attended Jerry's slide show recently. Whilst his passion for climbing and in particular big-wall climbing is clear there was more than enough material in his talk to interest those that are not climbers themselves. Jerry's talk encompassed not only the climbing that he has done but also the people he has met and the places he has visited and because of his vast experience there was a wealth of tales and anecdotes to satisfy even the most critical observer. A night out with Jerry is sure to be well worthwhile.
