Being a full time climber in Scotland often means chasing around the Highlands seeking out dry or cold conditions wherever they can be found. It takes excellent tactics and motivation to climb hard routes in summer and winter conditions.

With slides and video, Dave will show us the best of his climbs, including his latest winter projects in places like Ben Nevis, explain his preparation for them and tell us what he gets out of his climbing.

Dave is also a sport scientist and his perspectives on succeeding and enjoying sport will interest anyone who wants to understand why we climb.
