On Tuesday the 21st of February Andy Kirkpatrick and Niall Grimes, Britain's funniest two climbers, will perform an experiment in public lecturing: they will present a random, unseen collection of images sent in by you, the audience. All in aid of charity.

Andy Kirkpatrick has been described by Chris Bonington as Britain's funniest lecturer. His shows regularly have audiences weeping with laughter as he makes a mockery of hard aid climbing and mountaineering, and describes his antics on the set of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He once arrived to give a lecture having forgotten his slides. He found a sole slide in the boot of his car and entertained the crowd on that basis for over an hour! Niall Grimes, Grimer to many, has long been entertaining us with his lectures, magazine articles, and lately his BMC guide book editorial. His Ape Index shows are still unsurpassed for good old fashioned entertainment. Who will ever forget the No 23 bus and the 'Pony Scale' of cliff measurement?

Book your ticket and send in an image or two by email. The images will be collated into a random slide show which neither Andy or Niall will have ever seen before. They will then present them to the gathered audience on the night. The funnier and stranger the pictures the funnier their banter is likely to be! If you can't make it, but have an image or two you would like to send anyway please feel free.

You can book a ticket via planetFear (£6 each) and send your photograph/s to matt@heason.net The only guideline is that they should be loosely based on climbing or mountaineering. Send in as many as you like. They will be used for the purposes of this show only. Warning: do NOT be upset, offended or hurt if your photos are used on the night and you don't like what is said! Please don't be upset if we choose not to use them. No indication will be given on the night of who took the picture or who submitted it.
